FAQ

1. What is Pyramid of Pixels?
The Pyramid of Pixels is designed to perform two main functions. The first is to increase the traffic and sales of both established and new websites. The second is to provide a unique virtual piece of history to display the websites that have survived the supposed terrors of December 21, 2012. I firmly believe 12-21-12 will not be the end of the world, and this is a one time opportunity for other websites to shine in the spotlight and show their confidence while receiving a boost in sales and visits too!

2. How does the pyramid work?
The pyramid is a grid of pixels that allows websites to purchase a space to place their non-animated advertisement banner. Your banner will also contain a link to your website allowing traffic to be directed to your site instantly at the click of a button! Once a space is purchased, an approved image will be inserted and will remain in the pyramid for at least 5 years; which is well after 12-21-12. There are 6 sections to choose from in the pyramid and your image will only be able to go into one of the sections. The very bottom starts at $0.80 per pixel and the price rises a little to $1.00 per pixel as you move to the top, since of course you're getting the best seats in the house... well pyramid!

3. Why should I purchase a space?
The idea of buying pixel space for advertising is a relatively new concept, but far from unheard of. The effectiveness of such advertising has been proven to increase hits and the income of websites by incredible amounts! Not only is this a fun way to get your name out there, it's also extremely cost efficient compared to many other forms of advertising. You would also be supporting a very good cause. I'm trying to earn money to continue my university degree and to help my family as well. If there is one thing that has not gotten any cheaper (or even remained steady in price) it has got to be college.

4. Why does the theme of this site revolve around 2012?
Pyramid of Pixels was built with an additional purpose of showing itself off (along with many independently owned websites) when it has survived the 12-21-12 doomsday. Although this site is 100% serious in benefiting everyone that chooses to advertise here, it also has a fun theme to go along with it. I chose the 2012 theme because there has been a lot of hype around it and it is coming up very soon. You could say I'm generating anti-hype around the 2012 prophecies by supporting the idea that nothing is guaranteed that day... except taxes and your ad still being a part of the Pyramid of Pixels!

5. Do you have anything against people who do believe in alleged 2012 events?
Absolutely not. Everyone is entitled to choose what they believe, and I have nothing against that. The theme simply reflects my opinion and beliefs. If you do believe in the doomsday hype, you are still more than welcome to purchase some advertising space. Besides, if the world is ending, what better way to finish than with getting some last minute hits to your site?

6. Who are you exactly?
My name is Tyler Ross and I created this site in hopes of raising money to finish my university studies and to help my family. I am 21 years old and currently a full time student studying computer information systems at Arizona State University. I decided to make this site hoping I could make enough money to finish my degree out at ASU and help my family get their business back on its feet as well. I know the pain of being part of a struggling family whose business isn't quite making it in this economy. So I designed something fresh and effective to help others whether they are in this great nation or not.

Here I am at ASU Tempe campus!
